Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AutoSpend ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

AutoSpend is a personal car expense and maintenance tracking application. The app allows you to:

• Track vehicle expenses (fuel, maintenance, repairs, insurance, etc.)
• Monitor fuel economy and spending trends
• Set service reminders
• Export expense data

3. Subscriptions

3.1 AutoSpend Pro

AutoSpend offers a premium subscription ("AutoSpend Pro") that unlocks additional features including multiple vehicles, CSV export, and service reminders.

3.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Prices are in your local currency and may vary by region.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

3.4 Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled beforehand. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → AutoSpend
• Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → AutoSpend

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until then.

3.6 Refunds

All purchases are final. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, as they process all payments. We cannot issue refunds directly.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful, personal purposes
• Provide accurate information when entering expense data
• Maintain backups of your data (via export) if needed
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app

5. Data and Privacy

Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your expense data. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

AutoSpend is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The app will meet your specific requirements
• The app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any calculations or data in the app will be accurate

The app is intended for personal tracking purposes only and should not be relied upon for tax, legal, or financial decisions without independent verification.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoSpend and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
